Technical issues and ‘hard skills’ are easily understood and can be addressed fairly quickly. What is more difficult to see and understand are people skills and interactions needed to work well with others towards a common goal. Each person comes with their own unique work interactions and experiences and brings them to the work environment to work within a team. This is where things get interesting.

We believe that every organization, team, and employee have their own ‘work DNA’ and a ‘one-size fits all approach’ does not work well. The TrainingLab team consists of high-performance, subject matter expertise, curiosity, understanding of human behavior, and team dynamics to create a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone who uses TrainingLab.

Strategy

Many companies offer similar solutions, but if the solution is not a perfect match for your organization’s unique needs, the result will not be optimal. Data and analytics provide a constant feedback loop to ensure that metrics are met and addressed both at an individual employee level, and various organization KPIs at an organizational level. In addition to metrics, TrainingLab focuses on discussions with you and your team to make any necessary adjustments so that quarterly presentations keep the lines of communication open to continually ensure that TrainingLab delivers on the promise to improve communication skills with metrics, data, personalization, and strategy.  

Design

Good design is at the heart of every great product experience. It should is the extension of the person using a product, be effortless, and not require any extra mental energy. TrainingLab incorporates Learning & Development (L&D) expertise to ensure that the learning experience is based on well-established theories, best practices, and learning objectives. User Experience (UX) expertise ensures that the experience in VR and desktop can be easily learned and understood by people who have never experienced 3D learning content such as video games. Continuous usability testing ensures that issues are discovered early and addressed in the product. Good design is good business. 

Science

In building the world’s first platform to redefine education and training through complete immersion, let’s dive into the reasons behind our approach. Back in ’84, Benjamin Bloom, a renowned educator, revealed a game-changing insight—personalized education outperforms group lectures by a whopping 95%. That’s a game-changer. The catch at that time was the cost of personalization. Fast forward to today, AI is the game-changer, making Bloom’s dream a reality in an efficient way—courtesy of AI Cognitive Tutoring and Adaptive Learning Models. 

Technology

TrainingLab was founded on the idea that AI interactions should be as human as possible. Despite AI’s rapid advancements, outdated, text-based interfaces that lack physical and emotional nuance are still the norm. TrainingLab changes that by offering an immersive journey to improve communication skills through interactions with unique AI characters in a virtual environment. Characters act as mentors or co-workers, analyzing user responses and adapting to each situation. With VR (and desktop), speech, and non-verbal cues, the experience feels real. The dedicated and talented TrainingLab team focuses on integrating cutting-edge AI tech while keeping humans at the center. 

Leadership team

The TrainingLab leadership team is experienced with commercial strategy, cognitive psychology, behavioral sciences, statistical modeling, learning & development, enterprise-level product design, product management, usability testing, and immersive technologies.
